Tailored Curriculum Package

At Applied Behavioral Approach Consulting, LLC, we offer two tailored service options for ABA direct services, designed to meet the unique needs of children aged 3-18:

16 Hours/Week Service

This option includes four 4-hour sessions each week, scheduled on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Sessions are available in two time blocks: 8 am to 12 pm or 1 pm to 5 pm

12 Hours/Week Service

This option includes four 3-hour sessions each week, scheduled on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Sessions are available in two time blocks: 9 am to 12 am or 2pm to 5pm

Rationale

Offering shorter session times can significantly enhance a child's focus and engagement, aligning with their limited attention spans and reducing cognitive overload. Research supports this approach, highlighting that shorter, targeted sessions help maintain quality instruction by concentrating on a few specific goals rather than attempting to address all goals at once. Studies, such as those by Barkley (1997) and Gresham & MacMillan (1997), show that shorter sessions align better with children's cognitive capacities, making learning more effective. Cognitive Load Theory (Sweller, 1988) also emphasizes that reducing cognitive load through shorter, focused segments enhances learning and retention. Overall, this approach ensures more effective, personalized teaching tailored to the child’s needs.

Candidates receive extensive supervision and mentorship from experienced BCBAs, guiding them through each step of the BCBA task list. This support system ensures that candidates are well-equipped with the knowledge and confidence needed to succeed.

Seamless Transition from RBT to BCBA

As an ABAC employee, candidates are automatically enrolled in our residency program, allowing them to seamlessly transition from their RBT duties to BCBA responsibilities. This integrated learning approach provides a smooth and effective path to becoming a skilled and competent behavior analyst.

Live Webinars

Our informative and engaging webinars cover a wide range of topics related to ABA and parent coaching, open to parents, caregivers, educators, and other professionals.

Comprehensive ABA Services

We provide personalized ABA therapy programs for children ages 3-18, focusing on skill development, behavior management, and achieving individual goals. We offer both 16-hour and 12-hour weekly programs, scheduled over four days per week.

BCBA Residency Program

As a paid internship/residency, candidates will receive competitive wages commensurate with their experience while participating in our comprehensive hands-on training and mentorship program. Throughout the program, candidates will gain valuable experience and expertise, preparing them to excel in their practice and deliver

Social Skills Training

Our programs include targeted social skills training to help children improve their interactions and relationships with peers and adults.

Assessment and Treatment Planning

We conduct thorough assessments to develop individualized treatment plans that address each child's unique needs and monitor progress over time.
