Our mission is to provide inclusive and effective ABA therapy, emphasizing the importance of positive pairing and collaboration with families and caregivers. Lorneshia believes that empowering parents and creating strong support systems is key to the success of each child’s journey. Lorneshia’s passion extends beyond direct clinical work; she is deeply invested in training the next generation of ABA professionals. Through her mentorship and training programs, she strives to positively influence the field of ABA, ensuring that practitioners are equipped with the skills and compassion needed to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those they serve. Currently residing in Covington, GA, Lorneshia enjoys spending quality time with her husband and three children, engaging in creative activities, and fostering meaningful connections with family and friends. At Applied Behavioral Approach Consulting, we are dedicated to helping children with autism reach their fullest potential, guided by a vision of compassionate and community-centered care.
Biography
Lorneshia R. Cooper is a dedicated and passionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who has been making a positive impact since 2017. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Child & Family Development from Georgia Southern University and a Master’s degree in Psychology with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis from Kaplan University. With a rich background in early childhood development, Lorneshia has honed her skills through diverse roles, including her experience as a private preschool teacher, Behavior Specialist Coordinator with Fulton & Gwinnett County Public Schools, and therapist in the Severe Behavior Unit at Marcus Autism. As the owner and Executive Clinical Director of Applied Behavioral Approach Consulting, Lorneshia is committed to delivering culturally sensitive and comprehensive care that focuses on the whole child and their family.
